The image of the final part is often much more appealing: on one side, a sample of thick leather straight out of the cabinet; on the other, a part with geometric honeycomb cutouts, ready for assembly. But between these two stages lies a step that redefines standards.

Taming

the "capricious" parts

Flexible, fibrous, or textured materials are the bane of CNC machines. Unlike metal, these materials react unpredictably:

The material “runs away” from the tool.
The fibers fray if the cutting speed is not perfectly synchronized.
On complex shapes such as honeycombs, conventional controllers multiply micro-pauses to calculate trajectories.

This can cause a production cycle to drag on, penalizing your profitability and your ability to respond to the market.
