Aluminum chassis: The secret to CNC machine longevity and adaptability

When we observe a machining center in operation, we are often impressed by the spindle’s speed or the fluidity of its movements. But the real heart of the machine, the one that guarantees high performance over time, is its chassis. At KMSYSTEM, each machine is based on a structure developed from anodised aluminium profiles.
This choice of material is based on three fundamental technical pillars:
Structural robustness
For a CNC, the chassis is the foundation that absorbs all the forces of machining. The large-section aluminum profiles offer exceptional rigidity. They prevent the machine from bending under the pressure of the tool and effectively absorb vibrations generated by high-speed movements. Result: a preserved precision and a drastically reduced tool wear.
Mechanical capacity

A workshop is not a laboratory. Our chassis have to deal with dust, humidity and thermal variations. The anodizing treatment gives aluminum a surface completely insensitive to corrosion and rust. It endures mechanical stress and withstands the toughest industrial environments without ever deteriorating.
Modularity of aluminum
Unlike a heavy and rigid steel frame, profiled aluminum offers unparalleled design flexibility. This material allows us to easily adapt the architecture of the machine to the exact dimensions of your panels or parts. We can thus offer you a truly tailor-made equipment, capable of evolving with your production needs.
The aluminum frame is not a simple structural element. It is the assurance of a reliable, all-terrain KMSYSTEM machine perfectly tailored to your business.
